The charm of two unspoilt villages, the advantages of one resort.
On the sunny slopes overlooking Val d'Arly, the village-resort of Crest-Voland Cohennoz bends over backwards to provide the best possible welcome in winter and in summer. These living, but unspoilt villages have existed for centuries and skiing has been part of local life for more than fifty years.
Development has been careful to respect local mountain traditions: using wood and stone to build chalets that are no more than three stories high, and
the astute layout of the ski runs means most accommodation is at the foot of the slopes.
Efficient ski lifts carry you up into a magnificent ski area with numerous runs through pine forests and alpine meadows for all levels of skier, from beginner to expert.
The resorts of Les Saisies, Notre Dame de Bellecombe, Flumet and Praz sur Arly can also be reached on skis.
From Christmas 2005 there will be direct ski access to the new ESPACE DIAMANT ski area with the links between: Crest-Voland Cohennoz, Les Saisies, Notre Dame de Bellecombe, Flumet and Praz sur Arly.
