2nd WINEMAKERS’ SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS
From 9th to 15th January 2006:
For the 2nd year, the resort welcomes the winemaking profession for four days of sport, fun, gastronomy and pleasure.
PREVISIONAL PROGRAMME
Arrivals possible from the evening of Sunday 8th January.
Monday 9th
Free skiing, Espace Diamant ski pass
Option: 4pm Snowmobile ride to Les Saisies.
Tuesday 10th
Free skiing, Espace Diamant ski pass
Option : Tandem paraglider flight.
Wednesday 11th
Free skiing, Espace Diamant ski pass
Option : Winter adventure course
Meet at the tourist office from
4pm to 7pm
Arrival, distribution of badges and ski passes
5pm to 7pm Presentation and tasting of Savoie wines
9pm Slideshow on the history of the resort
Thursday 12th
9am Breakfast snack and presentation of the day
10am Explore the Espace Diamant ski area with ski instructors
or guided snowshoe outing
or go up the chairlift as a foot passenger
To meet at the mountain restaurant at around 1pm for a communal lunch
7pm Comedy evening
8.30pm Savoie dinner, prize giving and Savoyard entertainment
Friday 13th 9am Breakfast snack and presentation of the day
10am Slalom training
or free skiing in the Espace Diamant
or full-day snowshoe outing
Lunch and afternoon free
5pm History of skiing presented by ESF ski instructors
from 6pm Tasting of your products for local VIPs and
members of the local wine trade (by invitation)
Saturday 14th Morning Giant slalom race with buffet and drinks stand at the race
Afternoon Free skiing at Crest-Voland Cohennoz
5pm Parallel slalom and winemakers’ torchlight descent
9pm Dinner dance and prize ceremony
Sunday 15th 11am Farewell drink
